Event Brief

Shock and vibration testing is a key aspect product performance qualification, particularly vehicle and aerospace hardware.   Many large test articles require multiple shakers, working in concert, to achieve the required test levels.  In addition, some failure modes can only be identified when a test article is vibrated in multiple axes simultaneously, again requiring multiple shakers.  Performing such tests require special consideration and training.

This 1-day class is designed for experienced dynamics managers and engineers and covers the fundamentals for designing and conducting a multi shaker/multi axis test.

While extensive mathematics are not included or required to benefit from this tutorial, there will be exercises, using calculators, to enhance understanding of the test principals and considerations of MS/MA.
